Add a Background Bitmap to the Internet Explorer Toolbar (All Windows) Category: Home > Software > Internet Explorer > Appearance
Want to have you own bitmap shown on the Internet Explorer toolbar? It's simple with this registry setting. Open your registry and find the key below. Add a new string value, or modify the existing value, named "BackBitmap" for IE4 or "BackBitmapIE5" for IE5, then set the value to the path and name of bitmap file you wish to use (e.g. "C:\WINDOWS\CLOUDS.BMP") Exit your registry and restart Internet Explorer for the change to take effect. Note: To remove an existing background image, simply delete these values and IE will use the default setting.
